Medical Transcription is a healthcare process that renders and edits doctor dictated reports, procedures, and notes in an electronic format in order to create files representing the treatment history of patients. Doctors dictate what they have done after performing surgeries and procedures on patients and medical transcriptionists transcribe the oral dictation and/or edit the speech draft that have gone through speech recognition software.

With its intuitive physician workflow, Cameo increases physician-patient face time, accurate documentation, and improve physicians’ satisfaction. We provide scribing services to several US physicians. Our Virtual Scribe service proves to relieve physician burnout, and accelerate accurate medical documentation.
A Virtual Scribe listens in real-time to the patient visit, or a portion of the visit, and enters information into the EMR, as directed by the physician. The Scribe is in a remote location using Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant screen-sharing technology in order to navigate the EMR/EHR, enter orders, locate labs or studies, order prescriptions and add coding and billing information. The physician uses a desktop or portable device (mobile phone or tablet) to communicate with the Scribe as documentation is entered into the native EMR/EHR.
